Hand made in the South of France, this colorful, authentic French Vase d’Anduse originated in Provence and first appeared in the 16th Century in the reign of Henry IV.
The technique of the handmade pottery in Anduze is centuries old.

The craftsmanship of these French planters are very sought after as the design endured through contemporary artisans, who continue to make these vessels by hand the same way their ancestors did.
Traditionally trees are planted in them, such as small orange, lemon and olive trees, embellished with herbs like lavender, thyme or rosemary.

They look stunning in an entry way to a garden or house.
